Monday to Thursday 6.15am-3.00pm, Friday 6.15am-2.45pm and Saturdays 6.00am-11.00am (Paid at x1.5) rotating with Monday to Thursday 2.45pm-12.30am

The basics:

Pay: 44,000 to 47,108 with Saturday overtime. (This will be increasing soon by +7%)

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Must have electrical certs)

Location: Wirksworth

Benefits: Pay reviews, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays + the option to purchase 5 additional days subject to site availability. Pension 6% matched

Shift - (AM/PM rotation on the below 2-week rota)

Mornings:

Monday to Thursday 6.15am-3.00pm, Friday 6.15am-2.45pm and Saturdays 6am-11am (Paid at x1.5) (Some flexibility around Saturdays for events, holidays, birthdays etc.)

Afternoons:

Monday to Thursday 2.45pm-12.30am (Fridays for OT if you wish)

Overview:

Working on automated production line machinery we now require an additional Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join the team.

Key responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer role:

  • To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
  • Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
  • PPM's

The ideal candidate / Electrical Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Knowledge of safety circuits, Invertors, how relays operate, speed control systems
  • A mechanical understanding would be advantageous - gearboxes, pumps, pneumatics
  • Knowledge of PLC's advantageous
  • Electrically qualified - Must be able to present these at interview - minimum Level 3 or apprentice trained

Commutable from: Belper, Ashbourne, Derby, Alfreton, Matlock and surrounding areas.
