Company Overview:

We are recruiting for an experienced nursery practitioner to join the team at our clients ‘Ofsted Outstanding’ setting which has gained a fantastic reputation and is located on the Wirral. Our ideal candidate will have a passion to work with children and hold a level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all children receive the best opportunities for learning and development and are supported to reach their full potential
  • Engage children in indoor and outdoor play, creating a rich and stimulating learning environment
  • Work as part of a professional team to maintain a positive, safe and engaging setting
  • Communicate effectively with other team members, giving support when needed to ensure the smooth running of the nursery
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with children, their parents/carers and other staff members
  • Be an effective key person, maintaining accurate and effective observations
  • To follow and implement all Nursery policies and procedures

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Enthusiastic & motivated, displaying a passion to work with young children
  • The ability to work as part of a team to deliver exceptional care and education within the setting
  • Good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Level 3 Childcare/Early Years diploma qualified
  • Recent experience in a childcare setting advantageous
  • DBS

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 43.5 hours per week between the hours of 7.30am and 6pm on a rota basis
