As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Hygiene Team Leader to join their business.* Lead and manage the hygiene team, ensuring they understand their importance to the business success.* Fully deputise for the Hygiene Shift Leader during absences, overseeing daily operations.* Communicate hygiene-related information confidently to external auditors.* Monitor and manage resources (chemicals, equipment, PPE) to support efficient task performance.* Address HR aspects such as holidays, sickness, and clocking, ensuring smooth shift operations.* Collaborate with technical, engineering, and operations teams to improve hygiene standards.* Identify and resolve areas of concern to prevent foreign bodies or contamination.* Implement process improvements to enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.* Maintain and ensure the availability of necessary equipment in safe working condition.* Conduct daily stock-takes, monitor consumables, and maintain accurate records to meet quality standards.About you:* Experience in a relevant food manufacturing hygiene role* Category/product experience is flexible* Knowledge and experience with chemicals and ability with cleaning schedules* Excellent team playerGet in touch with your CV to find out more
