The Role: We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Art Teacher/Instructor/ Tutor to deliver a high-quality Art education to BTEC and GCSE level students. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing our bespoke curriculum and contributing to the holistic growth of our students.

With small class sizes, expect no more than 8-10 pupils per class. 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Art lessons to BTEC and GCSE level students.
  • Tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students and accommodate various learning styles.
  • Assess and record student progress, providing feedback to encourage positive development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and creative learning environment.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.

Requirements:

  • Experience in teaching Art to BTEC and/or GCSE level.
  • A strong understanding of the challenges faced by young people with SEMH needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding best practices.
