ATA Recruitment has Teamed up with a well-established FMCG company that specialises in manufacturing. The company has multiple sites across the UK, providing a range of products to retailers.

The company has been successfully trading for over 30 years and has recently experienced high demands Due to the demands of the market, the company is now looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the team to add support and drive efficiencies within the Maintenance department. 

ATA Recruitment is looking to speak with experienced Maintenance Engineers from the manufacturing sector based in the Wisbech area or someone willing to move to this region.

Key accountabilities for the position of Maintenance Team Lead:

  • Maintain electrical components such as panels, sensors, relays, safety circuits, and motors.
  • React to breakdowns.
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance.
  • Oversee Maintenance activities, ensuring planned maintenance is applied to all equipment to achieve maximum site efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Maintaining mechanical components such as pneumatics, bearings, belts, pulleys, and gearboxes.
  • Electrical and Mechanical fault finding.
  • PLC fault-finding skills.
  • Replace and repair electrical and mechanical components.

Requirements for the position of Maintenance Team Lead

  • An experienced Maintenance Engineer, working within a manufacturing environment,
  • A good understanding of both electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • A hands-on, team Player.
  • Qualifications Minimum NVQ level 3, apprenticeship, city, and guilds – electrical
  • Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
