A diverse specialist school that caters for students with special educational needs, including Autism (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and behavioural difficulties, are looking for a passionate Learning Support Assistant to join their team long-term starting immediately.
Your daily duties will vary from day to day (this is a fast paced work environment where no two days are the same). However, your general duties as a Learning Support Assistant will include running 1:1 and group sessions with the pupils, in addition to whole class activities. This will provide you with meaningful time with each child to build a positive and trusting relationship. Behaviour management will be required when challenges occur in the classroom, as well as help with personal care.
The school are ideally looking for a Learning Support Assistant who has previous experience working with children. A good understanding of SEN and experience with challenging behaviour would also be beneficial in this role. The most important factor is energy and enthusiasm - the school are seeking a Learning Support Assistant who is bubbly, friendly and can help encourage the students to have a positive view of school.

- Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 15:30
- Located in Witney
- 80 to 90 per day
