Multi-skilled Carpenter required for our client, a maintenance and repair specialist who operate throughout the Hampshire, Sussex and Surrey areas.
The Carpenter will be tasked with carrying out repairs, maintenance and refurbishment works on domestic and commercial properties, local to the Woking area. The Carpenter will be carrying out first and second fix carpentry, with other various works in addition when required (and if competent), such as tiling, plastering, decorating, basic plumbing etc.
The Carpenter would ideally hold an NVQ in carpentry or equivalent. The Carpenter must be multi-skilled, able to carry out other trade work such as tiling, basic plumbing etc. and decorating. The bulk of the work would be in the Woking area, so the candidate would ideally be based within commutable distance of this area.
Carpenter Position Requirements
- Experience carrying out 1st and 2nd fix carpentry work
- Multi-skilled (e.g. able to carry out basic plumbing, tiling, decorating etc).
- Based within commutable distance of Woking
- NVQ in carpentry or equivalent (desirable)
- Full UK driving license
Carpenter Position Remuneration
- £35,000 basic salary, rising to £36,000 after probation
- Van and fuel card
- 31 days annual leave (including bank holidays) rising with service
- Overtime
- Sick pay after 12 months of service
