Assembler/Solderer

Description: Responsibilities

• Work from assembly instructions, drawings, and wiring schematics
• Install electrical and electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand tools.
• Perform quality testing throughout the assembly process.
• Maintain records to track equipment performance.
• Solder electrical components.
• Adhere to ESD protocols.
• Use appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment).

* Track inventory levels and ordering parts as needed

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience as an Assembly Technician or similar role.
• Good eye-hand coordination to construct parts and pieces into a final product.
• The ability to use various hand tools to produce a final product.
• Ability to follow instructions and diagrams as delivered for each product.
• Excellent written and communication skills (English).
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• High school diploma and related training preferred.

Hours of work can either be full time 07:30 - 16:00 or part time - flexible around these times
