Job Title: Process Engineer
Location: Woking, Office-based, Hybrid
Payroll: Contract, outside IR35
Duration: Minimum 12 months in the UK, with potential for longer duration, involving international travel after 12 months
Start Date: Immediate, with interviews ideally scheduled for next week
High-Level Scope:
• Support our client across 2 major Gas Field Developments.
• Responsible for clarifications of bid (6 J) and managing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) throughout the project lifecycle as the client.
• Projects include 6 J & Concessions 31-60 wells + Central Production Facility (CPF), gas storage, and related infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide process engineering expertise and support to our client.
• Participate in bid clarification processes (6 J) and ensure alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
• Oversee the EPC phase, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budgetary constraints.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize process design, equipment selection, and operational efficiency.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to inform decision-making processes.
• Interface with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to address technical queries and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Support commissioning, startup, and operational phases, providing technical assistance and troubleshooting as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, implementing best practices and lessons learned from previous projects.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in process engineering within the oil and gas industry, particularly in upstream development projects.
• Familiarity with bid clarification processes and EPC management is highly desirable.
• Strong technical skills in process simulation software and engineering design tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
• Flexibility to travel internationally as required by project demands.
• Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.
