Mental Health Support Worker LOCATION:    Woking, SurreySALARY:        £11.72 per hour PAYE - £13.19 inclusive of holiday DURATION:PermanentHOURS:         37.5hrs per week (including some weekends and 3x sleep-ins every 2 weeks)
  • Are you a proactive Support Worker with a good background in supporting clients with mixed mental health conditions? 
  • A well-respected, national mental health charity is recruiting for a Mental Health Recovery Worker to support clients within a supported accommodation service.
  • You would be working for a charity that supports clients with mixed mental health conditions with the aim to have them successfully moved on within a 2-year period.
  • Support service users with various complex needs.
  • Provide emotional and practical advice whilst promoting independent living.
  • Assisting clients on visits in the community including shopping, making, and attending job centre and doctor’s appointments with them when required
  • Conduct initial risk and needs assessments.
  • Implement and update individual support plans.
  • Signpost clients to gain further support.
  • Carry out room checks as well as health and safety checks of the building.
  Essential requirements
  • Right to work in the UK (unfortunately we are unable to offer sponsorship)
  • Previous experience supporting vulnerable individuals.
  Desirable requirements
  • Knowledge of working with those with mixed mental health conditions
