Are you an experienced Hire Controller?

Eager to join a fast-paced plant hire department?

 

Attega Group is currently partnering with an independent Plant Hire company based in the Surrey area.

The main purpose of this role is to keep their database up to date with any plant equipment hired and returned to the company.


In return, our client is offering a salary circa £25,000 to £30,000, depending on experience.

 

The role will mainly be Mon – Fri, based on a 40-hour week.

Reporting to the Depot Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Equipment Coordination: Coordinating the scheduling and deployment of plant machinery and equipment to various job sites according to project requirements and timelines.
  • Inventory Management: Keeping track of available plant machinery and equipment inventory, including their condition, maintenance schedules, and availability for rent.
  • Customer Interaction: Interacting with customers to understand their equipment needs, providing quotes, negotiating terms, and finalizing rental agreements.
  • Booking and Reservations: Handling the booking and reservation process for equipment rentals, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery to customers.
  • Logistics Management: Arranging transportation and logistics for delivering equipment to and from job sites, optimizing routes and schedules to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Maintenance Scheduling: Coordinating equipment maintenance and servicing schedules to ensure that all machinery is in optimal working condition and meets safety standards.

The ideal candidate:

Will come with a minimum of 1 years’ experience within a Hire Controller role, or similar i.e. Service Coordinator.

Plant experience is not required, but would be an advantage

Previous experience in an admin role within the Engineering sector

Excellent Communication skills

Excellent Customer Service background

Strong Admin background
