Role Overview
Our client are looking for an experienced Production Technician (Contractor) to support the assembly and testing of electrical and electronic systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with a strong background in electrical assembly, particularly within maritime or offshore environments.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform soldering and PCB assembly to a high standard.
* Build and wire electrical cabinets and enclosures.
* Assemble and install control systems and low voltage electrical systems.
* Interpret and work from system diagrams, schematics, and wiring schedules.
* Quality review of drawings and provide feedback to support functions.
* Conduct functional testing and ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Work in accordance with DNV and Lloyd's Register standards where applicable.
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues.

Essential Requirements
* Demonstrable experience in:
* - Soldering and PCB assembly
* - Cabinet/enclosure builds
* - Wiring and control systems
* - Low voltage installations
* Strong understanding of electrical principles.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
* Must hold electrical certification (minimum City & Guilds 2365, BS7671, or 18th Edition).
* Right to work in the UK.

Desirable Experience
* Experience in maritime or offshore electrical systems.
* Familiarity with DNV and Lloyd's Register standards.
* Background in regulated or quality-focused environments
