We are looking for a Restaurant Manager for a high volume fast paced day time only restaurant serving all fresh food menus and great coffee.

A massive bonus is you will work straight day time shifts only - no evenings ever.

You need your own transport.

The Restaurant Manager we are looking for will have a high volume quality food led background, exceptional customer service skills, a real eye for detail and the ability to recruit and train great people and build sales. Alongside being financially and commercially astute with a working knowledge of kitchens.

The restaurant is table service in style and the food is all fresh with a morning breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea offer. All delivered with attentive service putting the customer experience at the heart of everything they do.

Role - Restaurant Manager

As the Restaurant Manager you will:

  • Manage all day to day operations
  • Control labour, stock and all costs & budgets
  • Recruit, train and develop your team
  • Work in a hands-on capacity leading from the front
  • Maintain high standards, compliance and company systems & procedures
  • Oversee and work closely with the kitchen team, including cooking on occasion so you do need to have a strong working knowledge of kitchens
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Work to company targets and KPIs'

Attributes - Restaurant Manager

  • Experience as a restaurant/cafe/coffee shop manager in high volume fast paced commercial customer facing operations
  • Strong financial & commercial acumen
  • Excellent people, communication and man-management skills
  • Kitchen/cooking experience
  • A hands-on lead from the front approach and a very keen eye for detail
  • An intrinsic understanding of legislation & compliance
  • The ability to motivate and enthuse people and teams to deliver results
  • Strong leadership, coaching, performance management and people development skills
  • A positive and outgoing personality and outlook
  • IT literate - working with systems & process
