SEN HUMANITIES Teacher / Tutor

Timeplan is currently working with a fantastic Specialist SEN School based in the Wokingham Area. The school caters for students who have struggled within mainstream settings. The majority of the students are post ECHP with a diaognosis of autism and associated difficulites including emotionally based school avoidance. The students ages range from 11 to 16 years of age.

The school, based in Wokingham, is now looking for an experienced SEN Teacher that is able to support a small class of 6-8 students who are working towards sitting their Humanities GCSE's. However, if you have experience of teaching any English or Maths this would be a clear advantage.

Teacher requirements

  • QTS
  • Temp to Perm role
  • Experience of teaching ASD students ( ideal but not essential)
  • Ideally specialising in Humanities (some knowledge of the English and/or Maths would be an advantage)
  • Current Enhanced DBS check or willing to undergo checks
  • Full time availability Monday to Thursday 8.30 to 4.30pm (Friday 8.30 to 1.30pm)
  • Ongoing training offered weekly
  • Daily rate between £160 to £240 per day (dependent on experience)
