Are you a dedicated Warehouse Operative who has experience in running vital warehouse operations? Have you had experience as a supervisor or as a deputy? if so this role could be your perfect next opportunity!!

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our clients warehouse operations. Working closely with the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for various tasks related to handling and managing a variety of products and materials. The role is based in Wokingham and requires a driver due to the location of the position. The hours are 8:30am to 5pm with some flexibility required at times dependant on the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking and packing products accurately and efficiently, ensuring orders are prepared for shipment in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Performing general warehouse duties, such as maintaining cleanliness and organisation, and assisting with stock replenishment.
  • Working to and maintaining the company's high health and safety standards, including the safe handling and storage of products and materials.
  • Providing holiday and sickness cover for the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, including collating documentation for booking hauliers and coordinating site deliveries.
  • Monitoring and controlling stock levels
  • conducting regular stock checks, and reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Loading and unloading deliveries both manually and using forklift trucks (FLT), while adhering to health and safety guidelines and relevant regulations.

Requirements:

  • Current FLT certification is essential for this role
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as required to meet the operational needs of the business
  • Commitment to upholding health and safety standards and protocols.
