With the company providing products and install services to a variety of water & construction companies throughout the UK. From floor covers to access platforms, including fencing and staircases. We’re looking to recruit a professional, and experienced Installation Technician as a key member of our installation team.
This is an exciting role within a fast-growing installation division where you will help by installing fabricated products from site survey through completion of install. The role will vary from site surveying, meeting sub-contractors to agree scope of works. This role is a 45 hour contract.
Responsibilities
- Support the installation process, from site surveying to the competition of install.
- Liaise with contractors and sub contractors
- Effectively communicate with individuals internal and external to the company.
- Support the install team.
- Carry out remedial works or snagging on your own or with a second person.
- Complete necessary work to ensure it is signed off by the main contractor.
- There may be a requirement to work in the workshop to assist with production/prebuild.
Requirements
- Have experience in carrying out an element of civils work.
- Experience in steel erecting.
- Welding experience is advantageous.
- Required qualifications- CSCS, SSSTS, IPAF, PASMA
- Must hold a valid CSCS card
- Willing to carry out relevant training.
- Occasional overnight stays.
- Must have access to own hand tools.
- Versatile and adaptable.
- Flexible with a 'can do' attitude
- Willing to progress within the company.
