Our client is renowned for delivering high-quality construction projects and is experiencing significant growth within the Midlands region. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team working on a £10 million industrial unit project.

Role Overview:

As an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Site Manager to ensure the successful delivery of the project. Your contribution will be vital in maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality while ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Site Manager in daily site operations and management.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and onsite personnel.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks.
  • Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
  • Support the Site Manager in quality control and inspections.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications.
