Job Description

As the successful Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering electrical designs to facilitate safe and compliant installations on site.

What you would do:

  • Designing in conjunction with fire certs, disability access certs & planning permission report.
  • Attend Design team meetings.
  • Carry out site surveys of existing installations.
  • Produce stage reports & presentations.
  • Detail electrical schematics for build.
  • Source and procurement of electrical components for designs
  • Create test plans and documentation packs for developed electrical designs.
  • Liaise with customers & suppliers, meeting project delivery deadlines.
  • Produce detailed design briefs, the basis of designs and survey reports.
  • Carry out all work in a professional manner.

Qualifications

  • Previous, relevant experience, gained in the Electrical Engineering field
  • Qualification in Engineering or related area
  • Deep knowledge of CIBSE, IEC, BS, IS and EN Irish and UK standards
  • Knowledge of Amtech required
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent communication skills
