Lubrication Supervisor

Location: Customer Site, Wolverhampton
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 4:00pm; Friday, 7:00am – 12:00pm (39 hours per week)
Salary: £30,913 per annum

A leading global company in the field of lubrication solutions is seeking an experienced Lubrication Supervisor to manage and supervise activities at a customer site in Wolverhampton. This role involves overseeing the efficient operation of lubrication services, ensuring all processes are adhered to while maintaining high standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the 'Lubrication Service' activities, including the handling and distribution of lubricants and oils.

  • Supervise and support site staff to maintain optimal performance and compliance with health & safety standards.

  • Monitor and control the condition of fluids and plant equipment, reporting findings using the company's internal systems.

  • Manage lubrication schedules in accordance with maintenance requirements, gaining a comprehensive understanding of customer needs.

  • Liaise with customers, attend meetings, and take minutes when required to ensure clear communication and alignment with customer expectations.

  • Carry out machine cleanouts and manage lubricant and oil ordering.

  • Maintain lubrication surveys and update the internal database regularly.

  • Utilize IT systems, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, for daily tasks and reporting.

  • Supervise contractors on-site, ensuring compliance with company standards and safety procedures.

  • Oversee the safe disposal of waste streams, ensuring environmental regulations are followed.

  • Implement and maintain company practices, including 5S and Health & Safety procedures.

  • Perform both office and shop floor duties, including training and supervising others.
