Service Care Solutions is seeking an experienced Childcare Paralegal to join a local authority's Legal Services team in the West Midlands.
The role offers an umbrella rate of £20-£25 per hour, with a PAYE inclusive rate of £17.98 - £22.32 per hour.
The contract is for 3 months, primarily for maternity cover, with the potential for extension, and requires office attendance twice a week.
Candidates should have proven experience in childcare law and ideally have worked in a local government or legal office environment.

Service Care Solutions is working alongside a forward-thinking local authority, based in the West Midlands, which is seeking an experienced Childcare Paralegal to join their Legal Services team. Assist and support solicitors in public law cases, including taking instructions.
Draft court applications, pleadings, and legal documents.
Manage your own caseload of private law matters and information requests.
Use case management systems (preferably IKEN) and HMCTS Portal.

Key requirements:

Proven experience in childcare law and a passion for the sector.
Previous work in local government and/or a legal office environment.
Experience of case management systems (ideally IKEN) and IT systems including HMCTS Portal.
