Responsibilities of the Assistant Site Manager:
- Assist in the day-to-day management of construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and site staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support the Site Manager in planning and execution of project activities, including scheduling, procurement, and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality, addressing any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate site records and reports, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications of the Assistant Site Manager:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry, ideally with exposure to highrise, industrial, or educational projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and health and safety regulations.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
- CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid certification preferred.
