Assistant Headteacher - SEMH School Are you an Assistant Head or aspiring Assistant Headteacher looking for your next education adventure? This dynamic SEMH school is looking to add an inspirational Assistant Headteacher to the team for September 2024.This school require an Assistant Headteacher who is determined to put the needs of students first and has previous experience working with challenging behaviours. As an Assistant Headteacher at this school you will be joining a small and experienced leadership team who are focused on ensuring that every child gets a second chance. Ideally you will have previous experience as an Assistant Headteacher or Middle Leader in an SEMH setting or Alternative Provision, however applicants with leadership experience within a mainstream setting will also be considered. Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a middle or senior leadership capacity within a school, ideally as an Assistant Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher.
  • Qualified Teaching Status.
  • Excellent organisational skills and data management.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Strong person management skills, managing a large team of teaching and support staff.
  • Previous responsibilities surrounding quality of education and curriculum or Pastoral and behaviour.
  • Hold a valid in date DBS or be willing to apply for a new one.
  • Available for to start a new role in September 2024.
