Exciting Opportunity for a Children's Social Worker!

Location: Various across Wolverhampton
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: From 30.57 (Umbrella)
Driving Required: Yes (Own Vehicle)
Working Pattern: Full Time

What You'll Do:

  • Work directly with children and families to ensure their voices are heard.
  • Provide care and support to help individuals live their best lives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, service providers, and community partners for holistic support.
  • utilise your knowledge of the Care Act (2014) and Mental Capacity Act (2015) to guide your practise.
  • Apply strong analytic and assessment skills to navigate complex situations.
  • Champion strengths-based approaches to empower children and families.

What We're Looking For:
To be a successful candidate, you will need:
Qualifications: Fully qualified Social Worker with completed ASYE and at least 3 years of experience.
Registration: Current registration with Social Work England (SWE).
Location: Based in or near Wolverhampton.
Flexibility: Willingness to travel for work.
Experience: Cannot have been in a permanent role in the West Midlands in the last year (per MOU rules).
DBS Clearance: A clear DBS will be required; we can assist with this if you're not on the update service.
