CANDIDATE INFORMATION -Account Manager

  • You must have good customer services skills, be well presented and articulate
  • You will need to be self-motivated, diligent and hardworking with a desire to build the business and team around you.
  • Good IT skills would be essential
  • A good working knowledge of maintenance contracts and delivering on SLA agreements
  • Experience of working on maintenance contracts previously would be essential
  • Have a good understanding of the implications of running national contracts P+ L etc (vlalue would be circa £1.5m)
  • Excellent management skills with the ability to oversee multiple national contracts
  • You must be trustworthy, ambitious and looking for a long term career with prospects

JOB INFORMATION - Account Manager


  • To oversee contract performance of building services clients
  • To identify opportunities to maximise the potential of each account
  • To liaise with clients, ensuring the resolution of any queries or issues.
  • To ensure all sub contractors employed meet the required technical and health and safety standards of the company and the client.
  • To assume responsibility for the control and liaison of subcontractors and own labour.
  • To continually monitor own and sub contractor and employee performance to ensure compliance with client Key Performance Indicators
  • To identify efficiencies and cost savings within all contracts, for the benefit of the company and the client
  • To ensure that all jobs are completed on a timely basis and to the expected standard
  • On completion of jobs, to ensure that all invoices are raised in a timely manner
  • To maintain contract records in accordance with internal procedures and customer requirements
  • Attend courses and other training events in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • To attend course and training events to promote changes to general and technical work practices.
  • To undertake other duties and special projects as required.
