Empowering Learning are currently recruiting for strong SEND Teaching Assistants to work with pupils with Learning Difficulties in Redbridge. They are seeking Teaching Assistant's with a background of supporting pupils/individuals with Behavioural Disorder, Autism and / or Learning Difficulties. The ideal person will be able to demonstrate an empathetic nature towards the pupils.

This particular position is to work on a 1:1 basis with a young pupil in Early Years.

Job Responsibilities

• Able to work as 1:1 support within the classroom & outside
• Supporting pupils with EBD
• Supervising pupils behaviour
• Encourage, engage and support pupils with their learning & development

Job Requirements

• Adaptable and willing to work within different settings
• Willing to support children with learning difficulties and disabilities
• Experience in PECS, Makaton or Print Communication tools
• Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be prepared to apply for a new DBS
• Available 5 days a week
