Production Operative

Our Client are a leading manufacturer and supplier of steel reinforcing products and services. Due to the business growth they are looking for a number of Manufacturing Operatives to join their expanding team.

Production Operative - Main duties are as follows:

• You will be working in a busy reinforcement fabrication and prefabrication facility in Woodville.
• Operating fabrication machines and prefabrication machines (training is provided).
• Operating overhead cranes and pendant cranes.
• Operating steel threading machines, cutting and bending steel.

Production Operative - Additional details:

• Shifts are 07:00am-05:00pm Monday to Friday + overtime available regularly.
• Further development opportunities with pay grading structure depending on experience. Suitable candidates will be offered MIG welding training.
• Long-term work with permanent roles after 12 weeks.
• Vacancies are available across a number of departments.

Production Operative - Benefits:

• Shifts are 07:00am-0500pm Monday to Friday + overtime available regularly.
• Pay rates increase over a 12-week period:
  • 12.50 p/h 1-5 weeks
  • 13.25 p/h 6-9 weeks
  • 14.00 p/h 10-12 weeks
  • 15.00 p/h once permanent after 12 weeks
• Overtime paid at 1.25x (Mon-Fri) and 1.5x rate (Sat)
• Overtime is available
