The successful Management Accountant will be working closely with the Senior Management Accountant on existing business. The main focus of the role will be to manage the month end process whilst improving the reporting lines and MI quality to Senior Management.
Management Accountant - Responsibilities:
- Reporting the monthly management accounts.
- Review of revenue and cost attribution across the business.
- Support the production of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Improve reporting processes to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop strong working relationships with financial and non-financial management.
- Support on all major project work.
- Ad hoc project work.
Essential
- Strong academically - educated to degree level and qualified CIMA level or equivalent.
- Must have sufficient commercial experience.
- Excellent IT skills including advanced excel, and confident on various management reporting systems.
- Strong attention to detail, and able to deliver right-first-time results quickly.
- Deadline focused, and willing to put in the effort required to ensure they always meet them.
- Comfortable working within an environment where compassion is a requirement.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work well within the team, and communicate effectively but sympathetically.
