Role Overview:

The Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the firm's daily activities withing their Wills and Probate Department. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a knack for problem-solving. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling a variety of administrative tasks and supporting the legal team to deliver outstanding client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organise files, documents, and records with utmost confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Coordinate appointments, meetings, and schedules for attorneys and clients.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, directing them appropriately.
  • Assist with the preparation and formatting of legal documents and correspondence.
  • Maintain office supplies and handle procurement processes.
  • Support the billing and invoicing process, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires and provide administrative support to HR as needed.
  • Perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.

Experience desired:

  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is an advanttage but not essential
