We are looking for a Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join our clients Private Client department. This position offers the opportunity to lead and supervise a successful team, contributing significantly to both client work and departmental management.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Manage and assist on a varied caseload advising clients on a full range of Private Client matters with an emphasis on Trusts and Estates work.
  • Draft, review, amend, and issue a range of legal documents, including wills, power of attorney, trusts, and settlements.
  • Champion business development activities including networking, strengthening existing client relationships, and winning new business.
  • Support colleagues within the department by liaising with existing and new clients, working efficiently, effectively, and professionally.
  • Involve in business development activities and support the Head of Department alongside other Directors in managing the department and assist with the ongoing training and development of the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least 5 years of post-qualified experience within a Trusts & Estates.
  • Extensive knowledge in inheritance tax, trust and estates taxation, including establishing, administrating, and terminating trusts and settlements.
  • Accurate and articulate in written and spoken communication with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent administrative, planning, organisation, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in a variety of IT software, including all MS Office applications.
