We are looking for a Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join our clients Private Client department. This position offers the opportunity to lead and supervise a successful team, contributing significantly to both client work and departmental management.
Day-to-day of the role:- Manage and assist on a varied caseload advising clients on a full range of Private Client matters with an emphasis on Trusts and Estates work.
- Draft, review, amend, and issue a range of legal documents, including wills, power of attorney, trusts, and settlements.
- Champion business development activities including networking, strengthening existing client relationships, and winning new business.
- Support colleagues within the department by liaising with existing and new clients, working efficiently, effectively, and professionally.
- Involve in business development activities and support the Head of Department alongside other Directors in managing the department and assist with the ongoing training and development of the team.
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least 5 years of post-qualified experience within a Trusts & Estates.
- Extensive knowledge in inheritance tax, trust and estates taxation, including establishing, administrating, and terminating trusts and settlements.
- Accurate and articulate in written and spoken communication with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent administrative, planning, organisation, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in a variety of IT software, including all MS Office applications.
