Description
Depot Manager is responsible for:
- Oversee daily operations of the depot to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's goals.
- Lead and manage the team, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and order stock as necessary.
- Address any customer service issues promptly and professionally.
- Prepare operational reports and propose improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline logistics processes.
Profile
A successful Depot Manager should have:
- Proven experience in a managerial position.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of logistics and depot operations.
- Management of self employed drivers will be beneficial.
- Engagement with customers and handle queries.
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Logistics distribution and supply chain experience.
Job Offer
Depot Manager will receive:
- Salary circa £40,000
