Manufacturing Technician

With over two decades of dedicated research and development, our client primarily focuses on hip arthroplasty.
Position Overview:The role of a Manufacturing Technician within our client's business is a vital component of the company. Within this position, you will be utilising the two decades of research and development and making the companies' concepts a reality. Working within a team of 3 other Manufacturing Technicians, you will be practising manufacturing techniques inline with regulations and quality requirements.
Position Requirements:
- Ensure full compliance of your work with Quality Management system.
- Carry out production operations within the manufacturing cell.
- Operate, monitor, and control CNC and manual processes (3-axis CNC machines)
- Complete critical records on the product and process - including inspection, sampling, testing, set up, housekeeping and maintenance.
- Complete document reviews (batch records, logbook, SOP's) in a timely manner, which requires clarity, and accuracy.
- Assist with Goods in and goods out.
- Inspect and maintain the production equipment and control systems.
- Maintain company health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Assist in creation of SOP's, risk assessments, COSHH assessments and training packages.
- Assist in validation projects and in the improvement activities.
- Ensure good manufacturing practices are maintained via good documentation.
- Prepare, clean, inspect, and maintain the equipment and facilities.
- Participate in all required company safety, training and quality audits as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (Dependant on experience) Hours: Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm. Holiday Entitlement/ Benefits:
- 20 days + Bank Holidays (Up to 25 days with time served).
