Description
- Oversee the strategic management and development of the council's property portfolio.
- Lead the property department and manage a diverse team.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all properties.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and manage the property department's budget.
- Implement strategies to maximise the return on the council's property investments.
- Monitor and report on the condition of the council's properties.
- Drive initiatives to improve the sustainability of the council's properties.
Profile
A successful Property Services Manager should have:
- A degree in property management, real estate or a related field.
- Experience leading a property department in the public sector.
- Strong knowledge of property management and development.
- Experience managing a diverse property portfolio.
- Proven experience in strategic planning and budget management.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
The role is based in Worcestershire and will require a hybrid office presence of 1-3 days a week.
