About you

You’ll need a background in low level programming with exposure to interfacing with I/O devices in real-time or event driven architectures ideally with RTOS’ and some industrial communications exposure to technologies like CANBus, ProfiBus, Modbus, EtherCat or similar.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be working with a globally distributed multidisciplinary team to develop enterprise software that powers automotive R&D testing for enterprise test platform with applications across self-driving cars, batteries, fuel cells, engines and powertrains, across web, cloud, desktop and mobile. The software focuses on collecting and processing data from a range of instrumentation and communicating and controlling the instrumentation in real time in a mixed C++/C# environment and you’ll be writing and integrating device drivers for instruments and I/O systems. You wont need to be an RTOS expert but will need to understand the limitation of such an environment, if you can also write a GUI in c# to edit device driver parameters that would be great!

What’s in it for you?

You’ll be joining a team of likeminded individuals, in a tech environment that’s built for developers by developers in a relaxed working culture with core hours, remote working, generous pension and holidays and the culture where you can actually use them! Also, for 1 day a month, you can work on self-directed projects. What’s not to like?
