I am currently working with an exciting fast paced FMCG company whose turnover is 1Billion. Due to a promotion within the Finance team, a requirement for a Financial Accountant has now become available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cost centre managers to streamline the Purchase-to-Pay process
  • Minimise outstanding debts and address invoice discrepancies promptly
  • Manage all financial accounting tasks, including invoice processing and liaising with shared service centres
  • Identify and eliminate non-value-added activities within the finance function, driving process improvements
  • Support the site through ad hoc investigations and participation in performance improvement projects

The Ideal Candidate

  • Professional qualification or significant progress toward CIMA/ACCA/ACA
  • Solid financial accounting experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing and familiarity with SAP (preferred but not required)
  • Proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent organisational skills
