We are currently looking to recruit Electrical Engineers for our Manufacturer of high quality wire ropes client based in Worksop (S80)

Salary: 38,500

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 07.30am - 16.00pm

Job Purpose:
Working as part of the engineering team to ensure all plant and equipment is maintained in a safe and proper condition to meet the requirements of production.

To ensure electrical maintenance duties are carried out across the site. Duties could include attending breakdowns, new installations, carrying out overhauls on machinery, completing remedial correctives and improving the plants availability and reliability. Ensuring planned preventative maintenance (PPM) is carried out, reducing risk of downtime.

Key areas of Responsibility:

  • Capable of effective prioritisation of tasks and personal time management.
  • Able to work unsupervised and prioritise their own time and activities.
  • Have strong analytical skills supporting fast and effective problem solving.
  • Ensuring plant and equipment is maintained to a high standard.

Requirements:

  • Timed served Electrical engineer. You must hold electrical qualification (i.e.. City & Guilds / BTEC / NVQ Level 3 minimum). 18th addition.
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience within a heavy engineering manufacturing environment.
  • Good electrical maintenance background and be competent to work on medium and low voltage systems, DC equipment, overhead cranes, large rotating machinery, pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Team working and flexibility with an open attitude, work will include assisting with mechanical work as required.
  • Experience in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Experience in panel wiring.
  • The successful candidate should have a proven track record in these areas, be multi skilled, be flexible in working hours and must be capable of working unsupervised.
