Responsibilities for the Clerk of Works:
- Take responsibility for the quality control of building work and development including responsive repairs, capital works, refurbishment and new builds
- Inspect and monitor works on-site
- Prepare instructions and schedules of defects
- Ensure that all works are compliant with specifications
Successful applicants for the Clerk of Works role will have
- Good understanding of construction and building regulations
- Working knowledge of various conditions of contracts
- Ability to clearly communicate with colleagues and customers
- A valid driving licence
