Cleaning Operative

Your new companyHMP Eastwood Park is a Women's Closed Category Prison, and is in Falfield, South Gloucestershire. The prison is run by His Majesty's Prison Service.Your new roleIn your new role as a cleaning operative, you will be carrying out general cleaning duties:

• Vacuuming
• Mopping
• Emptying bins
• Cleaning surfaces etc.

Shift pattern (Part-time: 25 hours): Monday - Friday, 5 hours a day between 8am and 4pm.Your hourly rates are as follows and inclusive of holidays:Standard: £13.26 P/ HourWhat you'll need to succeedYour new role does not require any experience as full training is provided. However, experience would be beneficial. A good understanding of chemical colour coding (COSHH). You will need to have strong communication skills, be hard-working, and practical. In order to be successful, you'll also need to pass a security clearance procedure due to the nature of the role and provide satisfactory references that cover the last 3 years of employment.What you'll get in returnYou will receive, on the job, paid training.
