Description
Duties of the Management Accountant Include:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts
- Financial forecasting and budgeting
- Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and audits
- Providing financial advice to project teams
- Ensuring compliance with all internal control procedures
- Working on special projects as required
- Implementing and improving financial systems and processes
- Liaising with stakeholders to understand financial needs and deliver appropriate solutions
Profile
A successful Senior Management Accountant should have:
- Working towards professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
