Credit Controller
Location: Wrexham
Salary: up to 25k
Hours: Monday to Friday (8am-5pm)
Acorn by Synergie have an excellent opportunity for a Credit Controller to join an award-winning company located in Wrexham.
As a Credit Controller your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely collection of outstanding debts owed to the company. You will play a crucial role in maintaining strong financial stability by managing credit accounts, assessing creditworthiness, and developing positive relationships with customers.
Responsibilities will include:
- Manage and maintain credit control procedures to ensure timely payments from customers.
- Conduct credit checks on new and existing customers to assess creditworthiness.
- Resolve customers queries and disputes related to invoices and payments.
- Monitor and chase outstanding invoices through telephone, email, and letter communication.
- Provide regular reports on credit status, outstanding debts, and collections activity to management.
Skills and experience required:
- Previous experience in a credit control or related field.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft packages
