Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a Ruabon-based manufacturing company in their search for a Tooling Engineer.
For the successful Tooling Engineer, our client is offering:
- Starting salary of £27,000 per annum
- Day positions - Monday to Thursday 8.00 am to 17.15 pm - Friday 4.15 pm
- Permanent role
- Every second Friday nonworking
- Development opportunities within the company
- Reduction on gym memberships
The role - Tooling Engineer:
- Key member of the Automation team, being involved in the production of parts using various production techniques
- Understanding and interpreting engineering drawings
- Program XYZ bed mill using XYZ ProtoTrak software
- Produce machined components to be used on our in-house produced machines using various manufacturing techniques
- Performing 2nd Op’s
- Maintaining machine shop equipment through a TPM program
- Assist in the final assembly of our automation machines
What our client is looking for in a Tooling Engineer:
- Completed Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing/Machining - ESSENTIAL
- Be able to carry out manual machining using a Mill and Lathe
- Works well independently and within a team environment
- Previous work experience in a machine shop environment - ESSENTIAL
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings - ESSENTIAL
