I am recruiting for a food manufacturing company near Wymondham who are looking for an experienced Account Manager to maximise and profitably grow revenue across their growing portfolio.  Key duties: 
  • Daily management of customer accounts (both key and developing) and building relationships with key decision makers, delivering exceptional customer service at all times to meet with customer expectations and requirements
  • Manage the full sales journey, from initial engagement to final negotiation
  • Provide strategic and innovative thinking to create new opportunities to expand listed product ranges within current accounts
  • Responding to all stakeholders in a timely manner whilst maintaining excellent written and verbal communication with all parties
  • Tenacious and proactive approach to seeking new opportunities for sales to increase profitable growth
  • Analysing sales data to identify risks and opportunities, ensuring stock holding to deliver optimum service levels
  • Forecasting and monthly budget reporting with accountability of P&L
  • Interpreting customer briefs, translating and communicating customer feedback to produce deliverables which meet the brief
  • Execute sales pitches ensuring retention of current product portfolio and securing new business
  • Independently creating and issuing quotations, and negotiating with customers to close deals swiftly whilst ensuring optimal profit margins
  • Attendance of customer & supplier meetings and industry conferences / events  to enhance business relationships and foster new leads
  • Assistance with project co-ordination to ensure timely product launches
  • Knowledgeable on customer’s policies and trading procedures
  • Keeping up to date with customer & competitor ranges with an awareness of product trends and gaps in market creating opportunities to present NPD or cross / upsell products
  • Working as part of a team in sharing knowledge, ideas and product samples to help ensure the success of the team overall
