Role OverviewWorking within the Composite and Assembly Team, with a company supplying to the automotive industries top brands. You will be working as part of a team to complete the production of a major project for one of their top clients. You will have experience in using hand tools and machinery, whether that is from a previous working role or a hobby, that you wish to start as a career.The positions offer the chance to work in a state of the art building and dynamic team environment with the possibility of a permanent opportunity.Do you enjoy working with tools and machines? Do you have a hobby working on cars or motorbikes and want to start a career doing what you love?Do you generally like working with tools and know that you can adapt to complete a job to high standards? If you have answered yes to the above, then keep on reading!!6 Months Temporary to Permanent Work / Evening Shifts 4.00pm – 12.30am  Duties Include  
  • Fit and trim composite components with meticulous attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Bond and trim assemblies according to defined standards and processes.
  • Routing, trimming, drilling, and sanding composite components as per provided drawings.
  • Abrading, cleaning, and bonding composite components using adhesives.
  • Assembling composite parts using mechanical fasteners.
  • Follow engineering drawings and technical manuals, ensuring accuracy throughout the assembly process.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork including route cards and daily time sheets.
  • Some Fabrication needed for templates and jigs to facilitate assembly, trimming, and bonding.  
Essential Requirements  
  • Prior experience / good understanding of assembling components.
  • Proficiency in using common hand tools and air tools.
  • Ability to interpret instructions from detailed drawings and build manuals.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proactiveness.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Comfortable working under tight deadlines with high-quality demands
  • Background in auto body repair and finishing or similar exposure.
