Job Title - Production Supervisor
Location - Wymondham
Working hours - Monday to Friday - 6am till 6pm or finish
Salary - £ 31k to £34k + overtime rates

ISQRecruitment is working on behalf of a well - regarded client in the Norwich area to find a Production Supervisor.

Supervising a small team in a non chilled environment, this is a hands on role, requiring a switched on candidate used to a Food industry environment.

Overview of Role:
Lead the team in achieving all goals and targets, with a key focus on health and safety, product quality, product safety, efficiency, and support of team members.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Directly responsible for completing the production plan, product quality, GMP, and safety.
  • Co-ordinates the supply of materials from Low Risk and the warehouse.
  • Manage staffing levels in accordance with the Production Plan and organize workflow and staffing levels across production whilst liaising with other department supervisors.
  • Support and rectify production issues as they occur.
  • Escalate any production issues to the Operations Manager, where necessary.
  • Coordinate team member activity, ensure that equipment and machinery are maintained and properly functioning to ensure efficient start up and changeover.
  • Ensure all hygiene standards are always followed and adopt the clean as you go approach.
Personal Specification:
  • Good verbal, written and numerical skills.
  • Uses own initiative and problem solves.
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing environment
  • Own transport due to the location and working hours
