An exciting opportunity has opened in the Wythenshawe area for an experienced Electronics Repair Engineer / Electronics Bench Technician to join a highly skilled and collaborative team. This is a hands-on role where your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills will be put to the test daily, working on complex repairs, collaborating with international experts, and delivering first-class support.

What will you be doing as an Electronics Repair Engineer / Electronics Bench Technician?

  • Diagnosing and repairing inverter drives and printed circuit boards (PCBs) to component level
  • Performing comprehensive testing and fault-finding to ensure quality and performance
  • Generating fault reports and updating internal systems
  • Researching and procuring electronic components
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment
  • Supporting research and innovation within repair techniques
  • Collaborating with a diverse team of engineers and support professionals
  • Operating 3-phase equipment in a technical workshop setting

Were looking for:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in an electronic repair or diagnostics environment
  • Strong skills in SMT and through-hole component repair
  • Excellent soldering and de-soldering ability with precision
  • Ability to fault-find and troubleshoot to individual component level

  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence working independently and collaboratively
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • NVQ4/HND or similar qualification (desirable)
