Job Title: SEND Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA

Salary: £85 - £105 per day

TeacherActive currently require a number of additional learning support assistants to join their team starting as soon as possible.
You will be working in a specialist secondary school in Trafford, supporting learners with additional learning needs such as Autism, ADHD, Complex Learning Needs, Downs Syndrome, Speech and Language difficulties and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. The school are extremely dedicated to ensuring that students receive every opportunity to progress and feel safe and valued in the classroom.
The successful SEND Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA will be:
- Experienced in working with children or young adults with SEND
- Engaging and nurturing, able to keep the work interesting and accessible for students, taking into consideration their unique needs
- Able to communicate well and work effectively under the guidance of the class teacher
- Flexible and able to adapt to activities and learning
- Calming and able to create a positive learning environment
