Our client is seeking an experienced Offshore Group Systems Integration Engineer to play a pivotal role in integrating various systems and technologies for offshore surveying projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydrographic surveying or project surveying, with a keen understanding of system integration principles and practices. Offshore Group Systems Integration Engineer Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement integrated solutions for offshore surveying projects.
  • Assess project requirements and develop system integration plans to meet technical specifications and objectives.
  • Configure, test, and troubleshoot integrated systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability in offshore environments.
  • Provide technical expertise and support throughout all stages of project execution, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential challenges and ensure project success.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve system integration processes and capabilities.

Offshore Group Systems Integration Engineer Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Previous experience as a hydrographic surveyor or project surveyor is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of successfully integrating complex systems for offshore applications.
  • Strong understanding of surveying principles, equipment, and data processing techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, C++) and software development tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with a demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
