Nursery Worker

Five Education are looking to recruit an In-Class Support Assistant in Yeovil. The school has a nursery attached, at times the school will ask that you provide support to the early years children. As a Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with identified children of primary age, encouraging them to learn and challenge themselves. The children have a diagnosis of Special Education Needs (SEN) such as Autism or ADHD and/ or mental health challenges. They will need extra help at school in the lessons and at break and lunchtimes. Experience is not necessary, but a can-do attitude, resilience and initiative are essential. You will need to be available 8:30-15:30. This work is term time only, the school prefers people who can offer 5 days a week but they will consider people who can work a minimum of two days a week. The working day is 6.5 hours with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. Your daily rate of pay would be £83.29 but with the potential to earn more. Pay: Five Education operates a PAYE payroll; this is the most transparent way to be paid with no hidden fees such as admin fee or employers NI.
