My client in Yeovil are looking for an experienced inventory controller to come on board and join their team. This is a great opportunity to join a well known business with an excellent market reputation.
Your duties will include:
- Warehouse assistant is responsible for overall stock maintaining and stock keeping
- Responsible for receiving and recording and maintaining the status of all material POs from Procurement department.
- Receipt of materials against the PO from various suppliers
- Ensure all documentations are received along with the material delivery
- Conduct inspection and acceptance/rejection of received materials
- Record the receipt and allocate to relevant project/general inventories in the system
- Arrange and store the materials in accordance with warehouse plan/procedure
- Maintain stock of general consumables and items
- Issue of materials based on requests (Store Issue Voucher) against relevant Project/Cost Centre
- Maintain record of all transactions and issuance to various projects
- Generate inventory reports weekly
- Generate reconciliation reports monthly
- Conduct annual stock taking and records
- Maintain safe storage of chemicals and flammable materials
- Control flow of shelf life items
- Plan for the facility and effective utilization of available spaces
- Supports production to issue material as per schedule, maintain stock (especially general stock) to avoid any delay due to shortages.
