We are actively seeking a skilled MRP Controller to join a leading Defence company. Our client is looking for an experienced professional to play a crucial role in ensuring efficient materials planning and control, contributing to the success of projects.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage the materials planning and control activities to support project requirements
- Monitor inventory levels, identify potential shortages, and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks
- Generate and maintain accurate material demand forecasts based on project schedules and customer requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish procurement strategies and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Review and analyze supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and update the MRP system accordingly
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in materials planning and control
- Adhere to quality standards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices
- Minimum of 3 years' experience using SAP within a Material Planning role
- Minimum of 3 years' experience within a material supply or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of MRP systems and inventory management principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
